DLC Coating (Diamond-like Coating) is a versatile material protection method used across several industries. It is employed majorly for the preservation of the mechanical properties of a material, including wear resistance and hardness.

Tungsten carbide is a chemical carbide containing equal parts of tungsten and carbon atoms. It is approximately twice as strong as steel with double the density of steel—nearly midway between that of lead and gold. When applied to a substrate, the HVOF (high-velocity oxy fuel) Cemented Tungsten Carbide Coating immediately bonds to the surface, resulting in high bond strength and extreme wear resistance.

Alumina (Al2O3) coatings is inexpensive and can be applied to any material for thermal or electrical insulation and has good a combination of wear and corrosion resistance.

Zirconia (ZrO2) offers superior thermal barrier properties due to the presence of thermally stable oxide. Hence, it is especially beneficial for high temperature applications. It also drastically improves the fatigue and creep life of the part resulting in extended service life.

Chrome oxide coatings are dense, hard, wear resistant coatings that are applied with the Plasma coating process. This coating is often chosen for applications where wear resistance is needed while being exposed to chemicals.

Molybdenum carbide and tungsten carbide are catalysts for steam and CO2 reforming and catalytic partial oxidation (CPOX).
